The Montessori School of Maui (MOMI) is undergoing a campus expansion that will largely be defined by sustainable building guidelines. The Center for Smart Building and Community Design Director, Steve Meder, facilitated a design charette which included participation by MOMI staff and community volunteers. The purpose of the charette was to develop a set of sustainable design and operational guidelines to help define the parameters of the campus expansion.
